Speaker: Hamja Ahsan, Free Talha Ahsan campaign director

Talk includes a video clip and some of Talha Ahsan’s poems.

Hamja Ahsan campaigns tirelessly for justice for his brother Talha, a poet and translator, extradited to the US after six years of detention in Britain without charge or trial. Talha was in an American SuperMax prison in spite of suffering from Asperger’s syndrome like Gary Mckinnon. As well as campaigning for his brother, Hamja campaigns against all violations of human rights and civil liberties and was shortlisted for a Liberty Human Rights Award.
